The new dimension of leisure and pleasure in the Canaries was opened by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. Siam ParkSiam Park opened its doors in September 2008 and surprised their guests with a new concept in theme parks, which defines it as the most spectacular water park in Europe and with the most advanced and compelling attractions for its magic, beauty and quality.

Scenarios include lush natural gardens and exquisite oriental architectural design which make this new proposal a tourism hotspot, and a unique place in which every family has their own space for fun, adventure, excitement and adrenaline. Also, for those who prefer relaxation, tranquility and nature, Siam Park offers various possibilities to do so, with its white sandy beach, exotic views, tropical gardens and relaxing walks in the crystalline waters of Mai Thai River, the lazy river.

Sea lions are also at Siam Park, but this is only the first of many surprises that keeps this park fascinating. Children at Siam Park

Siam Park is part of the Loro Parque Group so their unmistakable stamp of quality and international recognition is apparent. All the details of its architecture, landscaping, technology and sets have been specially designed with the highest quality, excellence and originality by artists from different countries.

In this regard, it is noteworthy that the Thai style was specially created by architect and professor of architecture at the University of Bangkok, Ruetai, who planned all the details on an exclusive basis. The atmosphere and sculptures in the park respect all religious Eastern symbols and ideological beliefs.

Unlike other water parks, the slides and attractions all have a structure with crafts and themed decor, especially designed so that visitors can not see how they are constructed and hence the surprise of adventure is always present. Undoubtedly, various unexpected sensations add to the mystery, excitement and, of course, the adrenaline, which invades more adventurous visitors.

Commitment to society and the environment

As usual in Group Loro Parque, excellence and quality of facilities are fundamental principles in all endeavors, therefore, Siam Park continues in this line with maximum respect for the environment, using the latest technological developments in every detail.

In this sense, the water that feeds the park is part of a closed circuit that starts at the sea, from where water is removed which is then deposited in a lake and then carried to the desalination plant which was built exclusively for this purpose. It seeps steadily up to 600 Siam Park1cubic meters of water per day and on completion of this process, is sent by all the slides and showers, to finally return to be recovered and purified to irrigate the park’s vegetation.

The energy used to operate the machinery of the park includes the implementation of the only natural gas plant in the Canary Islands, which is used to temper the water park at 24ºC. This is a major achievement resulting in less emission of pollutant gases, which contribute to the maintenance of environmental balance.

Siam Park brings jobs and commitment to cultural integration, such as more than 200 jobs to be generated directly from when its construction began. There are at least 25 different nationalities that make this park a unique cultural space.
