Santa Cruz Climate

The climate is arid (just over 200 mm of precipitation) and mild throughout the year, moderated by trade winds. The temperature variation is small.  Most rain falls between November and March.  In winter temperatures range from 16-17°C, minimum and maximum of 21-22°C and in summer between 22-23°C and 28-29°C minimum and maximum.

In 2007, Santa Cruz was the hottest city in Spain, at 21.6 degrees on average throughout the year, according to data available to the National Institute of Statistics, collected in its statistical yearbook.

According to their data, the city enjoyed 3094 hours of sunshine this year and was the  second capital of the province with the highest sunshine hours.
